JEREMIAH’S CROSSING THERAPEUTIC HORSE RIDING CENTER
Jeremiah’s Crossing is a nonprofit therapeutic horseback-riding ranch located in Babcock, Wisconsin, dedicated to helping horses help children and adults with diagnosed physical, cognitive, emotional, and academic special needs at no cost to the riders or their families. Located on a 138-acre wooded site, complete with riding trails, individuals with special needs participate in Equine Assisted Activities (EAA) Lessons. Friends of Jeremiah’s Crossing helped build a new outdoor arena in 2013. The new space is beautiful and much more “weather-proof” than our old lesson arena. They do not charge participants for services. All ranch activities are supported through volunteer efforts, fundraisers and grant opportunities. Lessons are offered in the spring, summer and fall. Tours are available by appointment.
